Hi, I'm Jen.
I'm the designer and maker behind Slow Ripple Studio. I create handmade sterling silver jewelry as a way to slow down and find balance in our fast-paced digital world. I’d rather be hunched over my bench than my computer.
I have always believed the physical act of making something is inherently meaningful. Especially now, there is value in the tactile, handmade world. For me, experiencing the process—hammering the sheet, bending the wire, melting the solder—is as important as sharing the outcome with those who also value the handmade and seek connection to authentic craft. When wearing my jewelry, rippled surfaces and unexpected composition tell the story of creation, and provide a tangible way to be part of that process.
I create for my younger self that dreamed of being an artist. Dreamed of making, being happy, loving the process, and sharing my gifts with others. Every piece I create is an invitation to slow down, to value the handmade, and to carry a piece of art into daily life. I am honored to become part of the wearer's own story of choosing the meaning in the making.
